                        Going LIVE!...

In 2011 I won an Emmy award for my live reporting. The compilation includes a series of live work including: spot, feature, general and hard news.

Some of the big stories I covered in 2010 include: The Reservoir Road Wildfire, The Deer Creek Middle School Shooting, the Boulder Plane Crash and the shooting death of a Weld County Sheriff's Deputy.

You can watch the compilation by clicking on the video box.

                        Live, Adlib.

I love breaking news. It gives me a chance to toss away my script and adlib. The night President Obama announced Osama Bin Laden's death, the 10 o'clock news team decided to tell the story without any scripts. I had to do multiple live shots during our newscast. Armed with my laptop, Twitter and Facebook, I collected as much information from CNN and NBC News as I could. Here's one of my adlibbed live shots.
